Great article from three years ago
I don't know why I only saw this now but check out Telegraph's Defense Editor Con Coughlin discussing the need for ASA capability in the RAF. Coughlin writes "Moscow wants to remind its European neighbours that it is still a power that must be reckoned with" and discusses why the RAF needs to be able to have interception capability to maintain aerial sovereignty. I wish we had people in D.C. who still thought this level headed.
